Río Majaceite

Along this trail, underneath an excellent riparian forest of poplar, ash and elm trees, we will spot and hear many birds such as orioles, in spring and summer; blackbirds, wagtails, warblers, robins or the powerful song of the nightingale year round, and hopefully the kingfisher.

By the path we will see ruins of ancient mills and the old power plant “Eléctrica de la Sierra” as remainders of the attempts to exploit the energy of the stream in the past.
