Birding locations

Sierra de Cádiz has a variety of ecosystems that provides us with the opportunity to observe a huge array of different species.
Mediterranean forest
Ancient forests of holm oaks inhabited by Iberian green woodpeckers, short-toed eagles or by the always fidget Sardinian and Dartford warblers.
Mountains and cliffs
The imposing limestone cliffs are the habitat of griffon vultures, Bonelli's eagles, Egyptian vultures, black wheatears and blue rock thrushes.
Wetlands
Marsh harriers overfly the flocks of flamingos, spoonbills and other waders. Meanwhile, hidden in the bushes, a western olivaceous warbler sings.
Countryside
Southern grey shrikes, zitting cisticolas, black shouldered kites or lesser kestrels fill of life the vast cereal crops, the olive groves and the dehesas.
